Tips for using Ceraclen Products
See below some handy hints for using Ceraclen products
Washing Machine Cleaner
-Before cleaning, remove all laundry items from your machine.
-Choose a regular cycle (or Clean (me)) for an HE autowasher.
-Select hot water setting to get the best results.
- Pour the entire contents of the Ceraclen Washing Machine cleaner into
- the detergent dispenser (Front loaders/ HE Machines)
- directly into the drum (Top loaders)
- Set water level to full load
- Press start
- For top and front loaders, stop machine before the rinse cycle and leave to soak overnight.
- After soaking, drain the machine and run the machine through a regular cycle (it is not recommended that you wash clothes during this process)
Occasionally there may be dislodged grime left over in the machine. This can normally be removed with a paper towel.
Cooktop Cleaner

- Ensure the cooktop is cooled before using Ceraclen Cooktop Cleaner. Check the red heat indicator light on your cooktop. Once the light is off, it is safe to clean.
​- Clean sugar based spills (jams/syrups) as soon as possible as these are incredibly corrosive.
- Remove any burnt on food and grease with an approved scraper (be careful not to damage the surface of your cooktop with the scraper)
- Spread Ceraclen Cooktop Cleaner sparingly on the surface.
- Use a clean paper towel to rub Ceraclen Cooktop Cleaner on the surface.
- Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and dry with a clean paper towel.
- Follow up with Ceraclen Cooktop Protector to protect your cooktop from spills
Silver Dip
- You can extend the life of your silver by storing it well. Always ensure that your silver is completely dry after washing to reduce tarnishing.
- Be careful when using Ceraclen Silver Dip on jewelry. Always test in an inconspicuous place prior to using.
- Shake before use.
- Dip items in Ceraclen Silver Dip for approximately 20 seconds (less for smaller items) or until the tarnish is removed. If the item is too large to dip, use a cotton ball soaked in silver dip to swab the item.
- Wash item in soapy water and rinse well, ensuring that the silver dip is completely removed from the item.
- Dry item with a soft cloth.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after using Silver Dip
- Do not use Ceraclen Silver Dip on Stainless Steel
Cooktop Protector

- Only use on clean surfaces. Clean using Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner after removing any food scraps
- Spray Ceraclen Protector sparingly on a cool surface.
- Rub well with a clean paper towel.
- Polish surface with a clean dry cloth.
